Trent Valley Maintenance - TVM - are a home improvement company based on Oswald Road in Scunthorpe. They specialise in high quality Loft Conversions for properties throughout the area and as far afield as Doncaster, Rotherham, Sheffield, Lincoln and Grimsby - in fact anywhere in the North, North East Lincolnshire and Yorkshire area.
I was asked to look at the Search Engine Optimisation on the website to see if we could improve the site's ranking in Google, Bing et al. We reviewed the source code of the site and put together a list of over a dozen recommendations that we felt would help.
I rewrote the website in Strict XHTML and used CSS 3, building our SEO into the site at the lowest levels as we went along while all the time ensuring that page URLs and the look and feel of the website were preserved.
TVM now also host the site with us, and we look forward to working with them in the future.
